Seasonal Cask Ales.

For greater choice, order early for Bar-b-q's and summer parties. Latest order Wednesday for Thursday delivery/collection for serving on the Saturday/Sunday. Automatic tilting stand and tap supplied. If a firkin (72 pints) is too much beer for your needs why not try a polypin (32 pints) or minipin (17pints), see our polypin and minipin selection..

Firkins contain real ale, which is conditioned in the container and therefore has a small amount of yeast sediment present in the beer. For best results the beer should rest in position for 24 hours prior to serving allowing the beer to clear. For functions where this is not possible, the beer can be racked 'bright' into 2 polypins.

Due to the nature of the product and its packaging we do not supply Firkins by mail order. We can deliver throughout South East Essex & East London, charges will
apply.

We can source most beers from around the UK, however the following are readily available during this month.

(prices are excluding vat)

Badger Fursty Ferret 4.4% abv £78.20
A golden-brown ale with a fruity aroma and floral hop and toffee notes. A medium-bodied, delicately balanced beer, with a smooth bitterness, slightly spicy character and zesty citrus notes.

J W Lees Bitter 4% abv £71.00
A full-strength, all malt brew, made from Maris Otter malted barley and East Kent Goldings hops. Very 'moreish' - one pint is never enough!

Orkney Northern Light 4% abv £84.90
A wonderfully golden-coloured brew which is somewhat akin to a field of ripe barley. A delicate fruity nose with lager notes leads to a full, initial mouthfeel with true mellow hop balance, ending in a medium to dry hop finish.

Hydes Ticketyboo 4.1% abv £76.80
Ultimate refreshment and flavour are the key qualities emanating from this light, crisp summer beer benefiting from the subtle use of the Liberty hop.

Butcombe Blond 4.3% abv £73.55
Made with the palest English malt (sometimes known as lager malt), using the finest Slovenian Styrian and Czechoslovakian Saaz hops. A premium bitter with a great nose.

Exmoor Gold 4.5% abv £75.80
Glorious golden colour with loads of hops on the nose and a good retaining head. Dry, refreshing and smooth on the palate with an excellent balance of malt and hops, and a touch of vanilla. A good long finish with bitterness predominating.

Everards Sunchaser 4% abv £78.30
Developed as a thirst-quenching beer, Sunchaser has been produced using lager malt, which gives the product its elegant pale colour, and Hallertau lager hops

Skinners Cornish Blonde 5% abv £83.50
A combination of the highest quality wheat malt and British and American hops, make this golden wheat beer deceptively easy to drink, with a citrus aftertaste.

Nothing tastes better than freshly tapped cask ale dispensed by gravity. This real ale is soft and flavorsome with excellent nose, slightly chilled, nothing accompanies a bar-b-q better.
