Selection Premium Varietal Grape Wine Kits
The original 15 litre premium winemaking kit, Selection yields wines of superior quality from a combination of 100% pure varietal grape juice and premium varietal grape concentrates, which have been adjusted for proper acidity and sugar balance. The result is a full-bodied, quality wine possessing superior flavour, aroma and complexity. These wines are ready to drink in 6 to 8 weeks, but develop wonderfully with age. Chateau Chablise Style A clean refreshing and crisp wine in the style of the French Chablis which is grown on limestone, a renowned taste captured superbly. Serve chilled. Chilean Chardonnay This offers good fruit weight overlaid with some attractive biscuity development, with great integration. Fresh and well defined with bright Chardonnay fruit and light aromas. Great for drinking anytime. Serve chilled. Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon This wine is now fleshy and expressive, a fine young wine of considerable style. Ripe and fat yet firm, with very good length on the palate. Blackberry, blackcurrant and oak aromas come shining through. Great with red meat. Serve at room temperature. Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot This popular blend combines the plump, fruity, earlier ageing Merlot grape with the robust Cabernet Sauvignon grape for a powerful match, with a deft touch of cedary oak. A fine accompaniment for any red meat. Serve at room temperature. Domaine Des Brumes (Brouilly Style) A robust fruity, deeply coloured red wine that can be enjoyed young in the "nouveau" style or aged a few years. A deep coloured wine with lovely flowery and ripe fruit aromas, becoming more complex and spicy with age. Serve with hot or cold food, at room temperature, or slightly cooled. Chateau Du Roi (Chateau Neuf Style) Full bodied with a deep colour, this wine is soft on the palate and quick to mature. A wine with that complex character comparable with the wines of the Rhone valley. World wide popularity. Superb with red meat. Serve at room temperature. Val De Grace (Bordeaux Style) The warm oak aroma of this deep, full-bodied wine is in the style of the prestigious wine of Bordeaux. It has an intense colour with a plumy nose and a hint of vanilla. On the palate it is smooth, full-bodied and well structured. Great with red meat and cheese. Serve at room temperature. Chardonnay/Semillon The combination of these two exceptional varieties with the oak additive gives a depth of complexity and character. The dry, fruity bouquet is accented with a hint of oak. The perfect hot summer evening drink either on its own or mixed with a drop of Cassis. Tremendously quaffable. Great with white fish or white meat. Serve chilled. Sauvignon Blanc This wine develops a grassy bouquet and an interesting spicy flavour, which is quite tangy. Distinctive on the palate, it is most enjoyable with white meats, pasta or salads. Serve chilled. Chateau Pouilly Blanc (Ruisseau Blanc) A classic white wine in the style of the great French Burgundy wines. This aromatic wine boasts rich, ripe full-bodied flavours. Fresh and lively, with a depth and complexity that approaches Chardonnay when aged. Serve chilled. Piesporter Style This version of Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region captures the classic flavour and the magical fragrance of this respected German style wine.
